Every village or town here has its festivals; especially during the summer months, something is being celebrated somewhere every weekend.

The festivals are usually related to the specialties of the village or region, such as the broad bean festival, goose festival, snail festival, wine festival, truffle festival, or medieval festivals. They are great fun to visit and to pull up a chair at the long tables to sample all the delicious food and meet the locals.

In the spring, usually on the last weekend of May, Cantine Aperte takes place throughout Italy .   Wineries open their doors for wine tasting. In November, this is repeated on a slightly smaller scale, and you can taste the new vintage.

Every year in August, the "Summer Jamboree" takes place in Senigallia. The entire city is Rock & Roll for a week.
